Stylish rooms have modern décor with large desks, easy chairs and tall, triple-sheeted beds with thick duvets. Studio suites have a bit of extra floor space, plus wet bars and pull-out sofas. Complimentary hot breakfast includes pancakes.

The hotel is at the end of the street, pretty secluded. There is a small pool, 5ft deep that is behind the hotel, surrounded by trees. Fitness equipment was somewhat working as the tracking buttons did not function, but the start button worked . It was sufficient enough for a reasonable workout. Breakfast was FANTASTIC!!! In room microwave malfunctioned and continued to run, so I had to unplug it. DONT FORGET YOUR TOOTHPASTE, THEY WILL NOT HAVE ANY. Overall, it was pretty good for the price.
Pros: Clean room, clean linens. (Maybe because I was in a handicapped room that was not frequently used?)
Cons: The entrance and hallway walls and carpet looked pretty dirty. I was worried about my room, but I was pleasantly surprised how clean the room and linens were. (Maybe because I was in a handicapped room that was not frequently used?)

Pros: Room was ready for us. Comfortable bed. Efficient staff.
Cons: Renovation work not professional. Paint splatters in completed areas, halls, bathrooms, etc. New color scheme is almost painful. Breakfast scrambled eggs were stale and hideous.

Middle grade facility, well located...
Pros: Well attended to, kept food warm and well stocked. Only problem was cold coffee; containers just couldn't keep the coffee warm.
Cons: Even though I had a confirmed reservation that I had guaranteed; I arrived at 3:30 and they said they didn' have the double queen room that I had reseved. After playing their "game" they came up with one ground floor, backing up to interstate. I had requested an upper floor, but nothing was available.

Pros: There is nothing positive I would say about this hotel
Cons: When we first got there to check in the girl at the desk was rude. Our AC broke and they didn't want to move us at first. The girl said they wanted to sell out for the night. They finally moved us. Another couple we knew that was staying there had their AC break too. They moved them into the room we had just left even though they knew that AC was broken as well. They were more concerned about selling out for the night then making sure the guests that had already paid were comfortable. The bathrooms in both rooms were gross. There was mold growing in the sink in one and on the bathtub in the other. The breakfast was horrible the next morning. They were slow getting food out and when they did it was nasty. This hotel was way over priced for the rooms and service we got.

Pros: Location of the property and the breakfast was really good.
Cons: A damp used washcloth was left on the bathroom basin along with an empty soap wrapper. Also, the bath map was damp before I used it.

Cons: When I arrived, the room I was given was dirty from the previousoccupant. I informed the lady at the front desk and I was given anotherroom, which also was not clean and clearly used by a previous guest. Iwas told that because I used booking.com I could not be offered adiscount for the inconvenience. The following morning the desk clerktold me that because I used booking.com, she could not give me areceipt, even though it was Holiday Inn Express that swiped my creditcard and not booking.com. I have never had this problem before whenbooking through a third party search engine. I was immenselydisappointed in this stay. I regret not traveling the extra 20 miles tothe next town.
