The room at this Holiday...

Pros: The staff were awesome!! Very nice and helpful. We were there for surgery for my granddaughter. They asked about her and asked if we needed anything. The room was great, big, clean and comfortable.

Cons: The location of the hotel was a bit "iffy". It was great in terms of close to the medical facilities we needed but a little scary outside. The local stores near by were busy with some questionable people hanging out.

Overall great stay

Pros: Cleanliness and the futuristicness of the rooms.

Cons: Can sodas were too pricey- $1.50. The pool needed a little tlc.

Great stay! Poor customer service!

Pros: The breakfast great and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable! The breakfast Staff was very friendly.

Cons: The counter Staff wasn't in place during arrival. It took another person to go in the back to get her. The same thing during check out. I had to go in the office to get her to check me out. My suggestion to get a bell.

Clean but hard harsh feel...

Pros:

Cons: Remodeled recently very cold feel to hotel & rooms. Lots of hard surfaces, leaving you feel cold compared to every other HI Express.

Ehhhh!!!! Not the best!!

Pros: The lady that handled the breakfast area was awesome

Cons: Our room was not cleaned and we asked about it, was told it would be clean and upon return we were handed linens to change our own beds!!! Unacceptable!! Pool was not opened and unable to be open at stated time.. Manager didn't have access and we had to wait for Maintenance man to drive back to facility to open the door!... not a great experience by far !

Extra helpful staff

Pros: The beds were very comfortable, the modern decor appealing, and the staff fantastic. I required a jump start to my car when I checked out and they put in extra cheerful effort to help me out.

Cons: The breakfast area could have used more attendants during peak use.

Pros: New facility. Nice breakfast.

Cons: It was a convenient location, nice facility, and super nice staff but the area on New Bern Avenue is a bit sketchy. Noted several vagrants each night sitting on the park bench at the main doors.
