Historic. Since 1931, the lively restaurant, in its current location since 1987, has been a Raleigh landmark for its fresh seafood, friendly service and heaping baskets of hushpuppies. Sit at the bar for shucked-to-order steamed oysters, several varieties of which are featured nightly. Maine lobster and snow crab legs are popular plates. In addition to fresh fish prepared grilled or blackened, the menu includes fried platters, steaks, chicken and pasta. Extensive wine and beer menus, plus signature martini menu complete the meal.
