Since 1975 this casual, eclectic eatery has focused on farm-to-table meals with a menu that leans heavily toward creative vegetarian fare, but also includes fresh seafood, chicken and steak. The restaurant's pride remains creative preparations of health-conscious fare, which incorporates low-fat, nondairy, vegan and vegetarian entrées. Desserts are made fresh daily on site. Brunch, served weekends, is a tasty event, with an array of Benedicts, hash, and scrambles featured. Live music is featured most nights and during brunch. In addition to a paid parking lot diagonally across the street, free parking can be found in the state government lot after 5:30 p.m. weekdays, located about a block to the southeast at 840 W. Morgan St.
