Classic Historic. This historic spot remains much unchanged since its opening in 1935. Guests still sit at a long horseshoe-shaped bar and are greeted by the longtime shuckers. The short menu is for seafood lovers only—steamed shrimp, scallops, king crab legs and oysters-served by the peck or half-peck. Don't miss their homemade warm cocktail sauce and very hot sauce. Check the schedule because they are only open when the oysters are local and fresh. Expect a wait on weekends.
