Thalian Hall, 310 Chestnut St., is the only surviving theater designed by 19th-century architect John Montague Trimble. In continuous use since 1858, the theater presents more than 400 plays, films and musical performances annually. Guided tours are available.
Guided tours $10; $8 (ages 55+); $4 (ages 1-18). Self-guiding tours free.
Hours: Self-guiding tours of the lobby are offered Mon.-Sat. 2-6. Guided tours of the theater Mon.-Fri. by appointment.
