For over 20 years this cafe has been a locals’ favorite for everything from breakfast to hearty sandwiches, to hearty entrees at dinner. Tempting freshly-baked breads, pastries and desserts fill the display case at the entry. At least three house-made soups are featured daily. The tomato-basil is rich and flavorful. A long list of sandwiches and burgers are offered at lunch, plus salads and brunch fare. At dinner, the menu focuses on a variety of chicken, pork, beef and seafood dishes. The meatloaf, topped with tomato jam and fried onion straws, is a perennial favorite.
