Great place for a stay, No matter if it's for 1 day or for much longer.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, we checked in late with no problems. They had a nice complimentary breakfast in the morning, not the "continental" style with just rolls and coffee.
Cons: The only issue I had was the beds were a little too soft for my taste.

This hotel is conveniently located near I-95 on the outskirts of Wilson, NC. It is centrally located amongst other hotels, gas stations, restaurants and intertainment and about 3 miles from shopping districts. Great for a 1-3 day stop! Family and fun oriented. Probably not the best environment for business or romantic get aways...Kids are full of energy and enjoy the pool and common areas!
Pros: We enjoyed the complimentary full breakfast!
Cons: There were no vending machines for snacks, like candy bar or something; we had to go down stairs to the market.

Bedbugs and No Hot Tub
Pros:
Cons: We arrived and checked in fairly quickly. We arrived to our room to find the door was being held open by the door latch. A little weird but nothing crazy. As we walked in we found that the plastic face of the A/C unit was laying on the floor. We then looked to the beds to find a bedbug on one of the pillows. We immediately took our stuff out of the room to the additional room we had luckily booked. We did a thorough search of the bed just make sure we did not find anymore bedbugs. After our sweep of the room (finding we had a couple of torn/ripped sheets in the other room) we went down to the front desk to report all we had found. When we told her about the bedbug, she asked if we brought down the sheets with us!! Um...NO! We did not do the job of the hotel for you! We took pictures of everything and showed it to her. Unfortunately, there was no more rooms on the hotel, due to a soccer tournament. But luckily, as I said before, I had booked two rooms so the four of us shared one room. Also the front desk lady said she could not give me the refund then, because I had booked through a third party (Booking.com) - it would be something I would have to contact the General Manager about. Hoping to relax from the current events, two of us decided we would go down to the hot tub that was listed in the amenities. We arrived to he pool area only to have the key card not work. We went back to the front desk where she was able to unlock it from some machine at the desk for us. Upon entering the pool area, we find a fake garden area now filled the space where the hot tub had once been. SERIOUSLY?!?!? Why even mention you have a hot tub....when you don’t?!?! Luckily, the indoor pool was heated and we could semi relax in that. The night was a little paranoid for all, hoping we did not encounter any bedbugs or anything else. The next morning, two if the guys went down for breakfast and said it was good. They said the coffee was surpringly good.
