AAA Inspector Notes
Custom furnishings and clever artwork fill this charming high-rise which is a work of art in itself. The R.J. Reynolds Building was the design inspiration for the Empire State Building. Hotel rooms occupy floors two through six, each outfitted with posh bedding, a large workspace with ample charging outlets, and a minibar stocked with gourmet snacks. In each closet, you'll find seersucker robes and a yoga mat. The one-bedroom suites and spa kings have an expanded, glamorous bathroom with a deep soaking tub and separate oversized shower. The elegant lobby serves as a living room for the hotel, with seating nooks and a community table. Coffee and tea are served each morning, and wine and light bites are featured during a social hour each evening. Recreational amenities include a small basketball court, bowling alley and adult-size slide.
