The pitmaster calls his tangy 'cue style "Bestern," as in the best flavors of both Eastern and Western North Carolina. Pulled pork is the popular choice, but there's plenty more on the menu, like turkey, beef brisket, chicken, sausage and St. Louis-style ribs. A combination plate is a good way to sample multiple meats. Sides include seasoned fries, mac 'n' cheese and collard greens. The cracked-pepper hushpuppies are particularly yummy. Banana pudding will satisfy the sweet tooth.
