AAA Inspector Notes
Historic. The quaint tavern is a perfect stop for a light lunch or casually upscale dinner during your day of touring the attractions. It's so perfect, in fact, there's frequently a lengthy wait for a table during peak times. Fresh ingredients go into Moravian fare that's both traditional and updated, like the pretzel-crusted stuffed pork tenderloin, pan-roasted duck breast with peach-fig jelly and pepper-crusted filet mignon. Staff in period garb serve sandwiches, salads and small plates at lunch. On Sundays they close after brunch.
