Lewis and Clark Trail Museum, 102 Indiana Ave. E. (US 85), is housed in a 3-story, redbrick school building with original furnishings that dates from 1914. Exhibits include a scale model of Fort Mandan, where Meriwether Lewis and William Clark spent the winter of 1804-05; saddles, cars and machinery from homesteading days; pioneer artifacts and records; an original cottonwood log cabin; a Charbonneau schoolhouse; and a pioneer home with antique furniture, clothing and toys. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
