In business since 1995, you can expect a casual ambience along with great food at this little local neighborhood spot. Start with hummus, wild mushroom bruschetta or crab cakes with honey-mustard vinaigrette. At least three soups are offered, along with some yummy salads. Favorites on the menu are the gourmet pastas such as the ravioli Gorgonzola and the one-of-a-kind Wall-rus pizza with Canadian bacon, sausage, sauerkraut, onions and Swiss cheese with mozzarella and Dijon sauce. Steaks and seafood figure prominently, and my entrée choice of the night was the rib-eye steak with the South American sauce, which had a tangy spice and a hint of sweetness that was just right. Great weekly specials and a light monthly menu they call DeLITEFUL, with items packed with flavor, also are offered. There is a bit of a pub feel to the décor, but make no mistake, it's all about the food here, although they do have well over 50 beers on the menu, including at least 20 draft beers, and a pretty good choice of wine.
