Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge

Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge, 5 mi. s. on CR 12, encompasses 8,363 acres of lakes, marshes and rolling tall-grass prairie. The refuge provides a habitat for nesting and migrating waterfowl, marsh birds, songbirds and mammals. Large concentrations of geese and ducks can be seen in April and October. Regulated fishing is permitted in season. Maps for self-guiding tours are available.
