Cross Ranch State Park, 8 mi. s.w. on CR 1806, stretches along the Missouri River. Within the park are Mandan Indian archeological sites, an amphitheater and the River Peoples Visitor Center, which contains interpretive displays. Recreational activities include hiking, cross-country skiing, fishing and boating. Interpretive programs are offered Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Pets on leash are allowed. Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
$5 (per private vehicle).
Hours: Park daily dawn-dusk. Visitor center daily 9-5, Memorial Day-Labor Day; hours vary rest of year.
