Audubon National Wildlife Refuge is on the s. side of Lake Audubon and n.e. of Garrison Dam; headquarters is 3 mi. n. of Coleharbor and 1 mi. e. of US 83. The 14,735-acre refuge is a haven for migratory waterfowl and deer as well as a nesting and feeding habitat for shore and upland game birds. An 8-mile driving tour for viewing waterfowl, including giant Canada geese, is available during spring and summer. Leaflets describing the tour are available at the headquarters.

Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
