The Enchanted Highway runs from Gladstone south to the center of town; follow I-94 exit 72S. Along the 32-mile stretch of prairie highway are whimsical, oversized metal folk art sculptures created by artist Gary Greff out of scrap farming and industrial materials. You can't miss such works as “Deer Crossing,” “Geese in Flight,” “Grasshopper's Delight,” “Pheasants on the Prairie,” “Theodore Roosevelt Rides Again,” “The Tin Family,” “Fisherman's Dream” and “Whirligigs,” a moving sculpture that visitors can activate by pushing a button. Greff's latest work is “The Web.” There is a small shop/visitor center at 12 Main Ave. S. in Regent.
Off-road parking and picnic tables are available at each site.
