AAA Editor Notes
Inuit Heritage Centre is in the n.w. corner of town. The center preserves Inuit culture, representing nine separate Inuit groups, and displays a variety of traditional handmade items including costumes and accessories as well as caribou skin kayaks. Historic artifacts on loan from other institutions are on display. Baker Lake is known for its Inuit art, examples of which are exhibited within the center.
