Northern Life Museum is at 110 King St. The museum examines area history through collections of native artifacts, tools, crafts, manuscripts and paintings. Exhibits cover the history of the fur trade, aboriginal culture and the unique aspects of transportation in the north. Traveling exhibits from other Canadian museums are occasionally featured.

Hours: Mon.-Fri. 10-5, Sat. 1-5, June-Aug.; Mon.-Fri. 10-noon and 1-5, rest of year.
