Cumberland County Museum is at 150 Church St. This was the home of Sen. Robert Barry Dickey, a father of confederation. Succeeding generations who resided in the 1838 house include James Dickey, a mayor of Amherst, and Arthur Dickey, a minister of defense for Canada. Exhibits interpret the natural, social and industrial history of Cumberland County. Of interest is the fine art collection. Extensive genealogy archives and gardens also are offered.
