The O'Dell House Museum

The O'Dell House Museum is at 136 St. George St. This restored two-story 1869 inn and tavern was built by Cory O'Dell, a Pony Express rider. The museum houses schoolroom artifacts; a Victorian mourning room; a kitchen and parlor; a toy room; and a genealogical research center with information dating back to the Acadian settlers. The second floor is devoted to the area's shipbuilding history.
