Museum of the Hooked Rug and Home Life is at 774 Main St. (Cabot Trail) within Les Trois Pignons Cultural Centre. Spinning, weaving and rug hooking are demonstrated at this museum and displays include French-Canadian antiques, glassware and rugs dating to the 1900s. The museum includes the Marguerite Gallant Collection and the Elizabeth LeFort Gallery. Guided tours explain how wool is carded and spun, and visitors are invited to hook their own rug strips. Food is available.
