Marconi National Historic Site

Marconi National Historic Site is at 15 Timmerman St. Surrounded by 18-metre-high (60-ft.) cliffs that overlook the Atlantic Ocean, the site depicts Guglielmo Marconi's initiation of the age of telecommunication with the transmission of the world's first official wireless message from this site on Dec. 15, 1902. Also featured is a local amateur radio station.
