North Hills Museum is off Hwy. 1 on the north shore of the Annapolis River at 5065 Granville Rd. This saltbox-style house, once part of an 18th-century farm, was renovated by Robert P. Patterson in the 1960s. It contains his fine Georgian collection of English mahogany, oak and walnut furnishings, ceramics, glass, silver, 18th-century porcelain and paintings. Guided tours highlight the collection and Acadian history.
