Pros: I liked the location of the hotel. The bed and room was very comfortable. The staff were polite and I felt very safe at the hotel. The location is very convenient, with taxis, public transport, restaurants and Park Lane Mall (and movie theatre) accessible with barely ever having to go outside (this was very helpful, as it snowed a little during my stay).
Cons: It's very hard to always have a view at all times in some of the hotels in Halifax; particularly the city. However, the little view of the water I got was appreciated. I'm a person who like breakfast the served all day every day; that was a little disappointing. However, the other food options were excellent.

Pros: The hotel is undergoing renovations and the new rooms are looking fabulous! They have the look and feel of boutique hotels, clean fresh and unencumbered. Love that new look!
Cons: Parking is over priced (over $32 for the night, no discount for staying at the hotel).
