The refined setting and gracious guest service are standard here, but what definitively stands out is the grand lobby and the exquisite design.
AAA Inspector Notes
Situated opposite the Halifax Public Gardens, this grand city hotel was built in 1927 and renovated in 2018. The guest rooms are smart, tastefully decorated and range in size from average to spacious. The lobby is exquisitely preserved with historical charm and the ceiling is a replica of the ceiling found at the Parliament House in Ottawa. The rooms offer modern comforts and conveniences. The park gardens across the street should not be missed while visiting Halifax. In 2006 the Rolling Stones entourage stayed here in an apartment suite when they performed for 50,000 fans in Halifax.
