AAA Editor Notes
Ross-Thomson House & Store Museum is at 9 Charlotte Ln. Thought to be the only surviving 18th-century store in Nova Scotia, the 1785 building features vintage merchandise and is furnished in the sparsely elegant style of the period. A militia room is upstairs. A Loyalist garden is planted with heirloom varieties of herbs, vegetables and flowers.

$4; free (ages 0-16). Combination admission with the J.C. Williams Dory Shop Museum and Shelburne County Museum $10; free (ages 0-16).
