Sherbrooke Village is on Hwy. 7 (Nova Scotia's Marine Drive). Costumed interpreters demonstrate skills, crafts and household chores at this restoration of an 1860s lumbering and mining town. The McDonald Brothers' Sawmill operates daily, and a hands-on history program is available. Other highlights include horse-drawn wagon rides, family and costumed activities and weekly concerts.
There are 25 buildings with costumed interpreters, including a blacksmith shop, general store, tearoom, craft workshops, boat-building shop and ambrotype photography studio.
