Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center

Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center is at 1477 US 395N. The museum is housed in the former Douglas County High School, constructed in 1915. Permanent displays focus on the Washoe Indians, mustangs, Basque settlers and the area's ranching heritage. Changing exhibitions revolve around historical and artistic themes.
