Lockport Cave and Underground Boat Ride

Lockport Cave and Underground Boat Ride departs from the ticket office at 5 Gooding St. Tour activities include exploring the Erie Canal locks, viewing industrial ruins, the original Flight of Five locks built in the 1840s, walking through a 2,100-foot tunnel blasted out of solid rock in the mid-1800s, and riding a boat on an underground waterway. Tunnel features include stalactites, flowstone, geological formations and workmen's artifacts. Adventurous visitors will enjoy The Niagara Zipper, a zipline course that crosses over Erie Canal.

Cave temperature is 65 degrees Fahrenheit; wind breakers or sweatshirts are recommended.
