AAA Editor Notes
Ashland County Historical Society Museum, 420 Center St., is comprised of three separate buildings on one lot. The 1859 Manor House, which has been enlarged and remodeled three times over the years, features collections of furniture, glassware and toys. In the Carriage House are exhibits related to past county industries. The Thornburg Natural History Museum is on the second floor; it includes primitive tools, household items and an insect collection.

The Eloise Ridgeway Noonan House contains a re-created early 20th-century streetscape; the Ashland County Sports Hall of Fame; a collection of military items and weapons from the Spanish American War, Civil War, and World Wars I and II; and a research library and archives.
