AAA Inspector Notes
Next door to Great American Ball Park, home of the Cincinnati Reds, is a taphouse serving the Christian Moerlein beers that have been locally popular since the 19th century. Try a pint of "Over-the-Rhine Ale" to accompany one of the hearty dishes such as pork belly, beer-cheese poutine, German sausage platter or short-rib melt sandwich. The dining room offers a fine view of the riverfront. It is just a short walk over to Paul Brown Stadium, home of the Cincinnati Bengals. Rotisserie chicken and prime rib are popular dishes here. This restaurant is part of the Banks Project, a redeveloped neighborhood between the Reds' and Bengals' Stadiums. It is a vibrant, appealing area of restaurants, bars and a little riverfront park.
