Glamorgan Castle, 200 Glamorgan St., sits back from the road on its 50-acre grounds and is a majestic sight just before you reach the University of Mount Union campus. The castle has belonged to the Alliance City School District since 1973, but its heyday was the early 1900s when it had just been completed as the new home for the Morgan family. The interior features an array of design elements, including Elizabethan, Italian Renaissance and Japanese styles. Tours, which include may stairs, last about an hour. Visitors unable to navigate the stairs can let the staff know ahead of time, and a video presentation can be arranged. .
