Logan County History Center, 521 E. Columbus Ave., features the spacious 1906 Orr Mansion built by a local lumber baron. The attached museum has exhibits describing local history and include Native American artifacts, railroad memorabilia, toys, agricultural artifacts, clothes, household objects and items manufactured in Logan County. A 19th-century schoolroom is re-created in one room of the museum while another room contains military memorabilia from area veterans.
The Logan County Transportation Museum, a building reminiscent of a railroad roundhouse that was in Bellefontaine from the 1890s-1960s, details the county's railroad and carriage history, the A.J. Miller Co. (which manufactured hearses, ambulances and professional cars) and Honda of America. The museum also includes exhibits about the county’s aviation history.
