Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation

Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation is at 315 Clay St. The shrine is served by the Conventual Franciscans. The statue of the Virgin Mary was brought to Carey in 1875 from Luxembourg. Three blocks west of the basilica, a 30-acre park contains a memorial altar and the Stations of the Cross.
