Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal is off I-75 at Ezzard Charles Dr. to 1301 Western Ave. The center is home to Cincinnati History Museum; Duke Energy Children's Museum; Museum of Natural History and Science; Cincinnati Historical Society Library; and Robert D. Lindner Family OMNIMAX Theater. The restored Art Deco-style train station was a major departure point for troops during World War II. The building features several large mosaic tile murals created in the 1930s. Weekend tours of Union Terminal depart from the rotunda. Guided tours are available. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
Each museum $10.50; $9.50 (ages 60+); $8.50 (ages 3-12). All Museums pass $14.50; $13.50 (ages 60+); $10.50 (ages 3-12); $5.50 (ages 1-2). Theater $8.50; $7.50 (ages 60+); $6.50 (ages 3-12). Museums and theater combination ticket $18; $17 (ages 60+); $13 (ages 3-12). Parking: $6 (per vehicle); $4 (after 4:30).
Hours: Museums open Mon.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. 11-6 (closes at 3 on Christmas Eve). Hours for OMNIMAX vary; phone ahead. Terminal tours are given on the hour Sat. noon-3, Sun. 1-3. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
