The entrance to this neighborhood restaurant is through the lounge, a room dominated by a huge, ornately-carved walnut bar that is a noble avatar of the confident spirit of 19th-century Cincinnati. Table spacing in the dining room is tight and the noise level in the tile-floored room can be distracting but the restaurant is a good choice for burgers, sandwiches and soup.
