Built in 1890, this hotel's four-story atrium is a Victorian marvel of architecture, with scrolling iron railings, mosaic tile floors and a massive glass ceiling. The hotel occupies the top three floors of the Arcade and the two attached 10-story towers. Guest rooms are thoroughly modern and stylish, although they retain a few vintage details, like mail slots in the doors of rooms overlooking the atrium.
