Clifton Mill is off I-70 exit 54, 7 mi. s. on SR 72, then just w. to 75 Water St. In 1802 the water-powered flour mill was built on the cliffs of the Clifton Gorge along the Little Miami River. Tours are given of the first floor of the five-story mill. The Legendary Lights at the Clifton Mill, a festive display featuring 4 million lights, is lit up during the holiday season. Guided tours are available. Food is available.
Mill tour $3. Legendary Lights $10; free (ages 0-6).
Hours: Tours offered daily 10-2, Apr.-Sept. Mill closed Jan. 1, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Legendary Lights daily 6-9:30 p.m., day after Thanksgiving-Jan. 1 (6-8 p.m. Christmas Eve, Christmas and Dec. 31); gates open at 5 and close at 9 (close at 7 Christmas Eve, Christmas and Dec. 31).
