Pros: The front desk staff were kind and professional; we were able to extend our checkout 1.5 hours, which was nice. I appreciated the all-you-can-eat muffins and granola bars, as well as all-you-can-drink coffee! The location (right across the main road from Polaris Fashion Center) was great!
Cons: Apparently, Extended Stay keeps all dishes and appliances (coffeemaker, toaster, etc.) under lock and key at the front desk. (This is opposed to, say, Homewood Suites.) I assume this is to prevent theft and/or damage, but it was a bit irksome to have to go to the front desk for glasses and dishes.
I wish there were an actual breakfast, not just a grab-'n'-go. While the food was limitless, it was very limited in selection. I booked this property partially because of the "free breakfast" claim, but it left a lot to be desired. Still, I can't complain about the granola bars and muffins; they were delicious and nice to take with us on our journey.
Also, through no fault of the facility's, other patrons were so NOISY! We were two rooms away from the door leading outside, and the hallway echoed like crazy. Also, it seems pets are allowed, and the lady next door to us had a yappy dog whose bark was only amplified in the small space. Again, I don't blame Extended Stay for this latter complaint, but it should be noted that the stay could've been quieter.
