This restaurant, located in a historic remodeled church and school, features a ceiling of exposed original walnut log beams. The chef de cuisine offers a seasonally revised menu that balances selections of fresh seafood, veal, game and poultry with a particular emphasis on local, sustainably-produced meats and produce. An extensive wine list is oriented toward French and California vintages but also is well balanced with choices from other regions, including Ohio. Sophisticated and romantic in setting, quality food and a highly trained staff all add up to a wonderful fine dining experience. The restaurant conducts periodic musical dinner presentations (jazz, bluegrass, opera) in a private upstairs room. These sessions are available by reservation only.
