Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm is 3 mi. w. of Dayton International Airport along US 40 at 1000 Aullwood Rd. The 200-acre wildlife sanctuary includes 6 miles of hiking trails through prairie, woods, marsh ponds, farmland and meadows. Marie S. Aull Education Center offers hands-on exhibits about southwest Ohio's flora and fauna as well as discovery rooms, classrooms, bird-watching rooms and live animals. The farm invites visitors to explore the century-old bank barn, which is home to pigs, goats, horses and other livestock. The Charity A. Krueger Farm Discovery Center features exhibits about sustainable agriculture and a farm play space. Visitors may explore pastures, colorful herb and vegetable gardens, a springhouse and cropland. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
