This place is much more creative than your typical pizza joint. It serves pies finished with a variety of unusual (and generously applied) toppings like house-made chorizo, smoked provolone, butternut squash and chicken sausage. The menu also offers other dishes, mostly reflective of an Italian influence: a grilled branzino, a strip steak with porcini rub and a grilled pork rib chop with Roman sauce. Try the eggplant frites with yogurt sauce, a house specialty appetizer. The dining room has a classic urban revival decor. There is a long dining room with open bar, exposed overhead pipes, lots of Edison lights and local art on the walls. In the winter, the patio is enclosed and warmed with heaters.
