The spacious breakfast area is separate from the lobby. Families visiting Cedar Point Amusement Park should request one of the suites with bunk beds for the children and king beds for the adults. Those travelers familiar with this chain's guest room décor packages will be interested to know that this hotel has the older style, more traditional décor including cherry veneer furniture and landscape art.
Smoke free premises. 69 units. 3 stories, interior corridors.
Pros: Good breakfast, great location just of rt90, friendly staff
Cons: No Microwave or refrigerator in the room, we asked for them and were moved to a room that only had a refrigerator. Every other Holiday Inn I have stayed at had a microwave and refrigerator in them. When traveling this is important to us. I am guessing this is due to a cheapskate owner pinching pennies.
Cons: They removed the shampoo I used the first day and didn't replace it so I couldn't wash my hair.
They did not provide the coffee cartridges for the second morning or clean the room
Pros: It was just very clean and comfortable. I really wish all your hotels would make room for straight trucks and semis. We drive occasionally and it is hard to find a place for a straight truck and we prefer Holiday.
Pros: The cofee machine in the room
Cons: Moldy AC unit - we've come away with colds/sinus infections
Traveling as Couple
Pros: The only reason I put an 8 down for room, is the door would not latch closed when we first walked up to the room. You could lock it with the deadbolt and swivel latch. The front desk person said they would fix it after we left.
Traveling as Couple
Pros: pet friendly
Cons: The exit from the interstate could have been more clearly identified. The hotel is in Holiday City but the exit signs showed Bryan Montpelier.
family with older children
Pros: The bed was nice
Cons: The cost was steep
Pros: Other then at the time of our stay, they had work going on, all was fine. At no way did it interfere with normal sleeping time.
