Allen County Museum

Allen County Museum is at 620 W. Market St. The campus includes the main museum facility, a log house, the historic MacDonell House and the Children’s Discovery Center. Displays at the museum feature Native American and pioneer artifacts; steam and electric railroad items, including the 1925 Shay geared locomotive; antique automobiles and bicycles; and a general store, doctor's office and barber shop. The museum also features a research library and railroad archives.
