Hoover Historical Center is in Walsh University's Hoover Park at 1875 E. Maple St. The Victorian house is the boyhood home of William H. “Boss” Hoover, founder of the Hoover Co. The history of the Hoover family and Hoover Company can be seen in vintage advertisements, military items produced during World War II and the Korean War and company products made through 2008. Family history is also presented with photographs and keepsakes. Original Ellsworth Smith artwork, known as North Canton's Norman Rockwell, are displayed. The elegant Victorian decor includes family furnishings. Herb gardens are on the grounds.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.
