Liberty Aviation Museum

Liberty Aviation Museum, 3515 E. State Rd., focuses on local aviation history and houses vehicles and restored aircraft that were in use between World Wars I and II. Supplemental historical items like photos and equipment enhance the collection. Highlights include a Ford Tri-Motor, a type of plane based at the airport from 1936-84, and a restored World War II PT boat. Special events are held throughout the year, and sometimes the museum has planes on-site temporarily from other owners and museums.
