Pros: One particular amenity was a pleasant surprise; the description (as far as I can remember) didn't list a pool or hot tub. This hotel has both, and they were very clean and nice. We used them both nights, but had to buy suits, since we weren't expecting it. The breakfast was great, hot, lots of variety and plenty of it. Coffee, tea and cocoa in the lounge was always available.
Cons: There was really nothing bad to report. The comfort, cleanliness, and value were all great. The beds were especially comfortable.

Pros: It was clean, comfortable and well located.
Cons: I didn't like that my room didn't have a small fridge. This is my second stay and I was very surprised by this as I had a small fridge in my room the first time I stayed there. But this time I was only there for one night, arrived late and left early morning so wasn't worth a discussion as I just wanted to go to sleep but I would expect that such a hotel would have a small fridge in every room. I had some juice with me that I wanted to have in the morning and I couldn't have it anymore because it was out all night and was not drinkable by the morning anymore obviously.

Pros: The beds were comfortable.
Cons: Ah, so many things not to like with this hotel..., starting with the musty smelling rooms (we had two for the 6 of us) along with the strong smell of cigarette smoke anytime you put the fan on in the bathroom, to the cracked tile on the bathroom floor that would hurt your feet. Twice I asked for clean towels and another roll of toilet paper from the cleaning staff and it was ignored. I ended up picking them up from the front desk. The front desk people were decent, not super friendly, but nice enough. The breakfast was very limited and tables were dirty. The only thing to get was waffles that were half way decent. One of the worst hotels we have stayed in, but usually we stay with the Hilton or Marriott hotels. This was what was recommended by the family hosting the wedding that we attended.

Pros: Breakfast was standard, but varied and fresh, and the eggs weren't over-salted. The beds were comfortable, far better than most at this price point. The mattress was soft and the pillows were semi firm, the perfect combination. The staff was very friendly and immediately available.
Cons: The bathtub was the usual smooth-bottomed, slippery tub doubling as a shower. For elderly guests with issues like neuropathy, that combination can be downright dangerous when soap is added to the mix.
