Wildwood Manor House is 5 mi. n.w. at 5100 W. Central Ave. in Wildwood Preserve Metropark. The house reflects an 18th-century Georgian architectural style. The former home of Champion Spark Plug Co. founder Robert A. Strannahan Sr., the 1938 manor includes 35 primary rooms, 17 bathrooms and 16 fireplaces. Wildwood is furnished in period. Guided tours cover three floors and most of the rooms; self-guiding tours of the first floor only also are available.
