Cedar Bog Nature Preserve is 4 mi. s. on US 68, then 1 mi. w. on Woodburn Rd. The preserve offers such uncommon flora and fauna as tundra swamp birch, showy lady's slipper, massasauga rattlesnakes, spotted turtles and more than 100 species of birds. Much of the plant life in the preserve dates to the last ice age. An education center explores how the bog was created and its myriad of distinctive species.
