AAA Editor Notes
Bartlesville Area History Museum is at 401 S. Johnstone Ave., on the fifth floor of the City Hall Building. The museum, in a 1913 former hotel, documents the history and growth of Bartlesville and the surrounding territory. Area Native American tribes, pioneers and the area's oil and mineral story are all portrayed through artifacts, photographs and displays. A 12-minute video recounts the history of oil from its discovery to the role it plays today in the community.

Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
